SAE-AISI 1527 (formerly 1027, G15270) Carbon Steel 1027 carbon steel material

SAE-AISI 1527 steel is a resulfurized carbon steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products. 1527 is the designation in both the SAE and AISI systems for this material. G15270 is the UNS number. Older literature may refer to this material as AISI 1027, but this is now discouraged.
